SIL-FORCE®

Sil-Force® is a soluble form of potassium silicate providing the plant a 100% available source of silicon and potassium that are essential for optimum plant growth and health. Potassium Silicate strengthens the plant’s internal processes and external defenses.

Sil-Force® low salt index makes it extremely safe to all crops including sensitive crops. Sil-Force® applied in the soil or foliar aids the plant during periods of drought, extreme temper-atures, cold, frost, heat stress, salinity and mineral toxicity (Al, Cd, As, Mn, Fe) and other abiotic stresses. Based on the crop, Sil-Force® can be applied as a foliar spray or to the soil using ground equipment or irrigation sys-tems. Sil-Force® can be incorporated into most spray tank mixes. Caution: Always add Sil-Force® first to the spray tank water. A jar test is recommended to test compatibility when new or unfamiliar tank mix combina-tions are used.

Product Usage

TURFGRASS and SOD: Apply 2 to 3 fluid ounces per 1000 sq. ft. every 7 to 14 days. If turf is under stress, application interval can be increased to achieve desired result.

ORNAMENTALS, NURSERY, GREENHOUSE: Apply 2 to 4 pints per 100 gallons of water.

HYDROPONICS SOLUTIONS: Add 5-10 fluid ounces per 100 gal of water. Resulting mixture should then be buffered to the optimum pH for nutrient solution and specific crop feeding.

VEGETABLES: Apply 2-4 pints per acre. For best results apply a minimum of 3 applications.

POTATO and other TUBER CROPS: Apply 2 to 4 pints per acre from planting to defoliation for plant health and to aid in skin set and sizing.

VINES, TREE NUTS, FRUIT TREES: Apply 2 to 8 pints per acre. First application at pre-bloom. For best results apply a minimum of 3 applications.

BUSHBERRY AND CANEBERRY: Apply 2 to 4 pints per acre. First application at pre-bloom.

ROW CROPS: Apply 2 to 4 pints per acre. Higher rates or more frequent applications may be required to correct deficiencies.

SUGARCANE and RICE: Apply 4 to 8 pints per acre. For best results apply a minimum of 2-3 applications. Apply at 28 to 42 day intervals. Higher rates or more frequent applications may be required to correct deficiencies.

SOIL APPLICATIONS: May be made pre-plant, side dress or in irrigation at 4 to 8 pints per acre.

Directions for Use

GROUND APPLICATIONS: Apply 2 to 4 pints per acre in sufficient water for thorough spray coverage.

AERIAL APPLICATIONS: Apply 2 to 4 pints per acre in minimum of 5 gallons of water per acre.

IRRIGATION: (Sprinkler, Drip, Pivot): Apply 4-8 pints per treated acre through irrigation system.
